Health Scare

Recent research has revealed that the majority of people die if they do not do enough living. Evidence shows that those who actively participate in life will reduce the likelihood of death to almost nil. Whilst some activities lead directly to death, and others increase the likelihood of death, health experts have concluded that living is the best way to prevent death.

Opponents of the research say it is deeply flawed as it is based on those that have already died, and so cannot be applied to those still living, they said that "we must continue to be cautious, as the time of death is uncertain. Any activity undertaken must be properly researched to understand it's relationship to death". Some groups go so far as to say that the only activity we should undertake is research in to the safety of our activities, presuming such research is safe. Some religious groups are calling for the government to act as they fear ongoing avoidance of death will prevent eternal bliss and so too much living should be condemned rather than encouraged. Bobby McFerrin was quoted as saying "Don't worry, be happy", the dead were not available for comment.
