I posted similar comments to Scott some time ago.
What worries me most on these comments is the opinion that Arabs/Mulims are often considered sub-human maniacs, and that America and Europe could not possibly cause misery for millions of people.
We know Saddam was bad, but was the bombing of Baghdad good. Even if the ends are justified the means, the "Shock & Awe" bombing would be terrifying for those who live there. Even if the motives of Israel are pure, does it alleviate the suffering of so many Palestinians?
